Listen to the audio version I first published this post in November 2013 and I will republish it today because it is still close to me. Remembrance day 2014 will be special for Canadians because the news of Cpl Nathan Cirillo, who was shot while guarding the war memorial in Ottawa, is still fresh. A […]

Last weekend we reported from the Kelowna Apple Triathlon on Twitter and I wished for an option to post more than one picture to Twitter at the same time.
You can imagine my surprise when I found that Twitter had just released an update to their Android and iOS apps that allows us to do just that!
We can now upload multiple images to Twitter! Here is how it works:

Media exposure. Just the thought of putting your business out there in the media scares some businesses owners away. Many businesses are unsure if there is any value in it. Is it worth the time and all the effort they have to put into getting media exposure?
My initial answer to the question above was: “Hasn’t been invented yet” but of course Mhairi Petrovic from Out-Smarts didn’t let me get away with that and asked what my ideal Social Network would look like.

I used to hate lists . It took the invention of List.ly to cure me from this phobia. Now I don’t only use lists in my content regularly but I use list apps to organize my work and my life. Listly has taken the fact that lists are everywhere to the next level. Now lists are the best way to bring social content into content creation.
In conversations with Social Media sceptics I often detect a clear misunderstanding of the effect of cute dog pictures or cat videos. Some even go so far to use these as examples for condemning anything that doesn’t have 100% serious content as “fluff” and unworthy of attention.
